Scenes from a bath

S's first bath ever was an unpleasant experience for her (lots of crying, because damn, she was cold!). Her second one wasn't much better, it was just in a different location (kitchen sink vs bathroom sink). After that it got better. Now she LOVES it. Loves it.

Until last week she was just splashing with her feet. Now that she's getting closer to sitting up on her own, she's figured out how to splash with her hands.

Bath time

S had her first sponge bath Wednesday night. Pretty good idea for a 2-week birthday present.



Daddy was smart. He put the towel in the dryer before we got started so she had something warm to hang out in.



She was not impressed with the idea of a bath, as evidenced by her "Elvis lip"




We were smart and only got pictures of the happy moments before the bath.

She did fine, though. She just doesn't like being cold. Once we had her clean, dry, and dressed again, she was happy as a clam.
